RISE Haunted House is looking for energetic and enthusiastic individuals for our upcoming Halloween season (September–November). No experience needed—we provide training to help you excel in creating unforgettable experiences for our guests.

What We’re Looking For
Must be able to work most, if not all, Friday and Saturday nights in October. Major roles require availability every night we are open.
You must be 18 years old by October of this year to join our cast and crew.
Haunt acting is physically demanding and requires stamina, movement, and high energy for four or more continuous hours.
Reliable transportation to and from the haunt is required. We are located at 10342 Hwy 442, Tickfaw, LA.
Must work well with others and be comfortable interacting with guests in a professional and engaging manner.
Punctuality, preparedness, and dedication to your role are essential. Our guests and cast depend on you.
Prior experience is not required, but openness to training, direction, and feedback is expected. We’ll teach you everything.
What to Expect
Here’s exactly what happens after you hit submit—every step from application to joining the Horde.
In order to place you in an appropriate role we have to see what you can do. You will be asked to complete some required paperwork before we get started.
Zombie / Monster Noise — Show us your best guttural, terrifying sound.
Manic Laughter — From soft and creepy to full-on maniacal. Let’s hear it.
Overdramatic Cry — Channel your inner dramatic actor. Sob it out.
Zoned Out Psych Patient — Blank stare, slow movement, disconnected from reality.
Twitchy Psych Patient — Erratic, unpredictable, unhinged energy.
Lines — Deliver scripted lines based on our character types.
Monster Noises & Movements — Show us how you move as a creature. Physicality is everything.
Optional Monologue — Come prepared with a 1 minute monologue if you're really interested in a speaking/dramatic role.
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely—shorts, a t-shirt, and tennis shoes. It will be warm in the haunt.
Bring a water bottle and your photo ID.
